Description
The American Hockey League is proud to continue its annual charitable auction, this year in support of Chris Snow, his family and the University of Miami ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) Center. Chris is the Assistant GM of the Calgary Flames and was diagnosed with familial ALS in 2019. ALS is a rare disease with fewer than 20,000 people in North America estimated to be living with it.
The University of Miami ALS Center is a pioneer and international leader in the underserved field of familial ALS research. Most notably, decades of research at the university led to the discovery of a biomarker that presents before symptom onset in one type of familial ALS. The result is the first-ever pre-symptomatic ALS clinical trial. On a grand scale, the ALS Center provides comprehensive, coordinated care as well as research leadership in the diagnosis, treatment and understanding of ALS. Its mission is to provide the highest level of care and multi-specialty support for patients and families living with ALS from the time of diagnosis to the end stages of the disease, while conducting advanced research into the cause and cure of ALS. Their goals are for every patient and family to receive the best possible care and to contribute to ending ALS through research.

Combined Shipping
For customers who win or are bidding on multiple items, combined shipping is available. To receive combined shipping, please send an email to AHLAuthentic2@theahl.com with your order number by 2:00 PM EST on the first business day following the conclusion of your auction. Combined shipping costs will be given as a refund on your credit card.
Example: If the auction closes at 7:00 PM EST on Friday night, the customer has until 2:00 PM EST on Monday to request combined shipping.
Payment
AHL Authentic follows the sales tax laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. All orders shipped to Massachusetts addresses are subject to sales tax. The amount of sales tax charged is based on current tax rates.
